Various lights near downtown Dallas

This picture was taken a while ago, here are various lights on typical Texas Department of Transportation Truss arms. As you can see most of these are still good old HPS, lots of OVW's (love those fixtures) and some other lights. A lot of the lights around the DFW area are still the HPS lights, on the interstates. Sections have been updated to LED, so a few parts of the metro on freeways will be entirely LED's but most sections are still the old HPS. Though I will give them about 10 more years and they will all be LED and the HPS will be no more, sad day when that will happen
