Westinghouse 40W inside frosted lamp.
Found in the box of light bulbs, among all the generic brand GE lamps and other various unknown lamps. This one has a supported C-8 single coil filament, rather unusual! Lamps of that era would rather have a double-coiled filament. I do not know the exact age of that lamp, it could date to the early 60s or the mid 70s... Any info about that lamp will be greatly appreciated!

I doubt it is a single coil. I would say this is a coiled coil, without the single coil ends. This was common in 25w and 40w Westinghouse bulbs. Although I have never seen a Westinghouse 40w bulb with a vertical CC-8. All of the Westy ones made in the USA had either the C-9 or the CC-6.

Well, the filament is pretty long, at least 1,5 inches long. The inside frost makes the filament very hard to see. What I could do is making a side-by-side comparison with a double-coiled lamp to see if light output of this Westinghouse lamp is similar to that of a double-coiled lamp. If so, it necessarily has a CC-8 filament.
