Its the idea of a bunch of Nazi parasites taking 6-figures plus lavish bennies sitting around dictating how many watts light bulbs should be. There excuse is that thousands of bulbs in use consuming 5% less watts could save thousands of watts, thus justifying their claim guzzle more tax $$$$.
simple solution....if its supposed to be a 40 watt...use the 67 heh heh heh heh...and if 75...use 95!!!! Or get the lamps outside of K-K-Kalifornia! heh heh heh........Does the newer light fixtures you find in target have the Kalifornia wattage limit labels or a standard ones? I just know they added CFL on the labels everywhere...
All chain stores including Target carry the commie wattages. You can find some full wattage bulbs in smaller stores such as 99 cents only!, independent supermarkets, etc. California isn't alone, Japan has similar wattage caps. I have several bulbs from Japan and they come in wattages like 38w, 57w, 95w, etc.
Re the lamps sold here come with free CFLs. The labels on the sockets give the wattage limit for both inc and cfl bulbs. For example, 60w bulb or smaller bulb or 15w cfl or smaller bulb.
