If I'm not mistaken, the GE Plant Light used to be a neodymium type lamp. I thought they were the same as the current Reveal PAR20s. Now the plant light uses a sprayed on finish (awful). Can anyone else confirm this? I always liked the plant bulbs to use for general illumination before the Enrich/Reveal bulbs ever came out.

Actually the GE Plant Light used to be made of daylight blue glass. Bluer than neodymium glass. The reflectors have always had a coating though, but the older ones were more transparent and better quality than the current ones.
