Westinghouse Radial Wave! Here is my Westinghouse Suspended style Radial wave! It has a head, which I am not 100% sure if it is considered an NEMA head as the diameter is about 2 inches smaller than the standard NEMA head, but it does have clips. The radial wave reflector is attached to the head from 3 tabs, 2 cast tabs and one adjustable the front screw shown in the pic is where you can adjust and tighten the tab on the other side that holds the radial wave reflector. Westinghouse Radial Wave!

Here is my Westinghouse Suspended style Radial wave! Whatever nearest lamp was found.....and it happened to be an inside frosted 60 watt Prism Ultralife from Rych LOL

Here is a picture of a MH 400W highbay, with a similar shape to the Westinghouse Radial Wave, that i photographed in Kravitz shop in Tel-Hanan center, Nesher.
There were several of these unusual "Radial Waves like" highbays in this shop, all equipped with 400W european MH lamps.

Those you just showed me is actually a low bay fixture missing its cover. But it still looks pretty cool.

Nice Radial wave! I got a Wheeler that the reflector screws onto the head. Can you adjust the hight of the socket in this?

No socket isn't really adjustable....it has the same socket type as the old stamped OV-20....except in medium...also the reflector is more of a lock twist style In a odd way...plus gets tightned with the screw in the front (which has a bar on other side of screw that acts like a clamp) its smaller than a regular NEMA head size too!

Very cool old Westy. I think those came out in the late 40s based on NEMA but slightly smaller, like L-M's Spherolite, Jr. Yours has the HV entrance insulators so it must originally have been HV series. Did you get it with a replacement socket or is there a mogul film disc cutout socket still in there?

Actuallly the socket is an orginal Westinghouse branded medium based socket. So it may be a very earily first paralell wired streetlight! The socket has the same design holder as my stamped OV-20 from 1947-1952! So yea late 40s to early 50s sounds correct!

Here's a little ironic thing...this real Westinghouse radial wave is being held by a faux Westinghouse fan!

Very cool, indeed. The ones I handled back in the 60s had a blank plate over one side and a single entrance insulator for multiple or stand-alone use. They were NEMA gumballs but the luminaire had the same screw-on entrances: two for series, one for 110v or remote ballast and both blanked off for through the arm wiring. I like it when someone discovers and saves a slight anomaly in something that comes off the street. The faux Westy fan is a nice touch, also.
