LPS (?) NEMA head with closed bucket
I'm only guessing this one is LPS based on the size of the reflector, since I haven't seen it lit. I love that "peephole" in the bottom :).

I think you are correct...where was this found? I know Nassau County once used a lot of LPS, even did some retrofit in old MV fixtures with LPS ballast kits too!

I think this one is a GE...but I need a better view of the slipfitter to be sure...

could it be ITT/T&B/AEL?

Jace, it was on residential street off Straight Path in Suffolk County. I still see LPS in Massapequa...

It is LPS. The town of Babylon used to use LPS buckets on its residential streets. The town of Oyster Bay also used to use LPS lights, hence their presence in Massepequa. Oyster Bay's are of the horizontal variety, generally Phillips, with some American Electrics used as replacements.

Thanks. I've already been a member of lighting-gallery.net for several months now, so this site already feels pretty familiar.

I used to be an administrator of LG.....so that could be one reason why. But still....different rules and some different features though.....Welcome to GoL anyway!
