ComEd performing mass replacement with LED's
Just over the past 2 weeks, ComEd has been doing as mass-replacement of both MV and HPS street lights, with new LED's. This has taken place primarily in the Barrington area. At least 2/3rds of the lights pictured in this album have been replaced already. This is the first time I have ever seen ComEd install LEDs, and it just started about 2 weeks ago, so they're going strong and fast with this.

Interesting to note, they're using the same type of LED fixtures for both the low-wattage (150-250w MV/HPS) replacements as well as the high wattage (400w+ MV/HPS).
