NuLite 2xF23T8 Weatherpack
A Nulite weatherproof fixture for 2x F32T8 lamps. Frame is made entirely of some sorta plastic? fiberglass?, and actually looks like a fairly well made fixture... Basic Disassembly is fairly easy & requires no tools. I quite liked the design...

Its designed with cut-outs so a 3rd F32T8 could be added (or maybe have just a single lamp?) .. 2x T12 would work if you used taller lampholders in it. Also has cut-outs for T5 (up to 3-lamp there too)

I'm guessing just looking at these that they were probably fairly expensive to go buy.
Saw a few of these (still new) at a ReStore for $10 each a couple weeks ago...

Interestingly when google'ing, I found out the 'Nulite' company is right here in Colorado, & the lights are made here too.

Nice! These are called vaportight lights, and yep they usually have a fiberglass white body and an acrylic diffuser. I have two fiberglass bodies with the latches and end KO covers but I don't have diffusers and I don't have fixtures for the inside. The vaportight body is actually universal; any standard strip light will fit inside the enclosure (you might need to drill holes) so if you have a 2X F40/RS strip light laying around, you can pop it in this if you wantd to.

Nice, I like the idea of the shiny reflector since those diffusers often reduce the light output,especially if they get dirty and/or have a lot of bugs, etc. inside.
I'd make it 3-lamp, but that's just me.

Eh, I dislike specular reflectors since they create shadows and just look weird lol.

Those in coolers/freezers are the best, just disconect power via ballast disconnect and take the whole tray out and work on it not in the cold

@Mike:
Interesting on the vaportight body being just a universal thing.. but yeah looking at it does look like a standard F40/F32 striplight would fit no problem

@GEsoftwhite100watts:
I too like the idea of the reflector.
And like you I was thinking the same thing with making it 3-lamp...there's even a mounting spot on the gear-tray for a 2nd ballast.

@A_lights:
I didn't think about that, but yep the whole thing is very easy to take apart, & there is a little quick-connect thingie on the ballast wires of this one.
