160 watt self-ballasted MV
I don't usually use this lamp to light my bedroom, but I like the light from it and it is a little dark here during the winter :D

Note the ring of blueish light on the ceiling, which escapes from around the base where phoshpor is missing. 

I found some nice cheap ceramic sockets that came with short lengths of high-temperature resistant wire.

I also familiar with these rings and they are appeared in my father's second old home in the far past when in my room there was similar installation of the SBMV lamp until we installed a 6 blades ceiling fan and moved the lamp to it and then the rings was disappeared.
