Advance 55v HPS ignitor
When my first HPS fixture had an ignitor failure, eBay was in its infancy and it was difficult to source a replacement. I ended up paying almost $50 for this little component, having to travel to a hard-to-reach area of town, and had put an incandescent lamp in the fixture to have light for the two weeks it took to get this ordered and in stock to pick up. I also had to educate the lighting representative on exactly what this was and what I needed. It's so much nicer nowadays to be able to "buy it now" and get things like this quickly and cheaply online.

$50, Ouch Shocked An entire 35-150w kit is sometimes cheaper than that here. That being said, I buy up any cheap ignitors I see at Restore and have a nice stash of them now.
