Powerlite B2227
Here is my B2227 (early R37) running, this is the first time I've run it in a year and a half, when I first wired it up and plugged it in it wouldn't start (I could hear the igniter pulsing but it wasn't working, so I took the brand new Sylvania lamp out and picked up the light to try to figure out the problem then two pieces fell out of the socket (half of the centre contact and a spring behind it) so I removed the socket and repaired it with parts of another socket I have, it then work perfectly, the ballast is silent!

Nice that you got it working again.

Yeah, if the socket couldn't of been fixed it could of been replaced, but I like the free repair better Razz
