Maybe plastic, or its dirty. My OV25s lens was fogged up with dirt when I got it. A good spray of the hose on "jet" mode gets it nice and clean.

Dishwasher. My parents would KILL me!After years of service, my OV10 just needed a quick rinse. My OV25 was at a race track, so the fumes really cooked up lots of grime on its lens and the outside of the reflector.

I didn't say I didn't get yelled at I haven't done it since.

The M400 has a glass refractor for sure, just very dirty. Prolly from the smog in LA LA land lol.

I washed my refractors and traffic light lenses in the sink, it comes out pretty clean if you use Comet and scrub hard enough.

The B2255s refractor didn't fit in the sink and I had to clean it with a pressure washer

Don't use Comet. Bar Keeper's Friend works better and you don't need to scrub hard at all.

You can't find Bar Keeper's Friend in Canada and I'm not going to drive down to the US just to buy a cleaner. So to each their own
