Simply impressive seriously! But how's the color...is it like the GE one I have?

This lamp have the Ce:YAG phosphors of the white LEDs on the outer plastic of the lamp instead on the dies of the LEDs, and this is the reason for the yellow body color of the outer plastic.
The resulting blue LEDs, pumps their remote phosphors and cause them to glow yellow and the overall color is 2700K.
This lowers the temperature of the phosphors.
Also the LEDs are slightly underdriven so they operates cooler.
Because both the phosphors and LEDs operates cooler in this lamp, efficiency increased to 64 lm/W (12.5W produces 806lm), the life increased and the lumen maintenance improved.

I have not directly compared, but the Philips lamp indeed has a nice warm color. The color appearance looks kinda similar to a CFL, but slightly warmer and more natural.
