Sylvania B2255
In a strip mall full of them, located in Norwalk, CA. They are 1000w MH, since they are 400w sized fixtures I imagine only the smaller 1000w BT-37 lamps fit.

How do you know they are 1KW? I don't even think a 1KW ballast would quite fit, maybe I should try to do that to my B2255 and see Idea

They have tags that say X1.

Odd, needless to say there a conversion or incorrectly labeled.

They look factory but are blue instead of red. I have an 80s small Sylvania that has a green 25 tag instead of yellow but its a regular 250w HPS (the green color was assigned for HPS retrofit lamps). It originally came from Ontario.

Yep the older Power-Lites had a green tag for regular HPS, I don't think these ever would of come in 1KW, then again maybe it was just for one year and they figured it was a bad idea.
