This is an old one!
These small straight arms are hard to come by. Also notice the unusual attachment between the luminaire and the arm.

Oh yeah i see a bracket...instead of some kind of slipfitter, I guess they normally are found as suspended fixture eh? What would those date to?

man old dave old !!!!

i guess that Clamp type Bracket is there since it seems unlikely that you'd be able to cast a Slipfitter in Porcelain.

Form109, good thinking! Odd that they would do a side mount on a porcelain head, most porcelain heads are top mounting.

They probably had a good number of spanwire fittings around when putting up the poles, and were using up existing stock to cut the cost to the utility.

Hey dave, does it have the NEMA clips? It does look like it does...so that would be a VERY OLD EARLY NEMA head!

Looks almost like a yoke mount.
Silverliner14B   [Oct 17, 2011 at 01:37 AM]
I can see some kind of a clip, so it is prolly a NEMA.
