I have bought K-mart bulbs back in the 80s. The pakage had different colors for each wattage, I think 75w had a purple cover where this 60w is green.

Do you remember the 2 packs of soft whites? Boy I havent seen a Kmart soft white bulb since the mid 80s!

Kmart sold a lot of the old Tungsram bulbs made in Hungary. They were sold in 3 packs for the soft white and 4 or 6 packs for the acid etched bulbs. They were 120 volts with a life of about 2000 hours I believe. These bulbs used the 240 volt design envelope with the larger neck. This was around 1975. I recall them as being well made, some of the first imported A19s I came across as a light bulb enthusiast.

Yep, I have a 6 pack of Action Tungsram 100w bulbs with a copyright year of 1975. I should take a pic. I do have imported GLS bulbs much older than that though, I have a case of 12 40w 115v bulbs made in Japan in the 40s. The dollar store bulbs of yesteryear, more like dime bulbs lol!
