Yep, I have a 93 watt one in front of my house and it does fairly well lighting the street. I'll say though, these are not the worst looking fixtures out there.

Only 35w? Most LEDs in Los Angeles replacing 100w HPS lights are 70w.

Seen that at home here, usually was the inline fuse in the pole was blown.

A few of the LEDs in Los Angeles had gone out and were replaced by newer generation LEDs using fewer emitters. These are brighter than the 2-3 year old ones and both are supposedly 100w HPS equivalent.

This light has a bad PC, it is on during the day and night, but is off for a few hours in the early morning, strange Confused

Interesting, I noticed and led fixture out on my street the other day but one of the wires broke off the secondary. They used butt splices and one of them let go.

Been seeing a lot of these appear on/near local freeways

Up in the NH Co-Op area they're testing out 67W GE Scalable Evolve lights like crazy. They're not really that bright and they're very glarey but the color and CRI from the light is great. not like those blueish LED flashlights lol. I'm disappointed that induction and CMH aren't as big of a hit as LED since i think they're better light sources.

we tried Induction here but it seems like the towns/cities are going with LED.

The city of Pittsburgh is replacing all of their HID street lights with LED ones too.
