Westinghouse OV10
Here's a Canadian Westinghouse OV10 that I picked up off the a local seller. It unfortunately doesn't have the glass but it did come with a 1980s Canadian Sylvania 250w /DX cleartop lamp. All the other hardware seem to be all present too. No ballast, but I have a 175w can ballast lying around. I was thinking of either getting a flat piece of glass cut for this or use a piece of UV stabilized acrylic and then derate the wattage to 100w MV.

It's shown here with a Cooper plastic refractor as a mockup.

The riveted nameplate on it reads: "WESTINGHOUSE OV10 LUMINAIRE STYLE 721D406608 LIGHTING GRANBY QUE"

Nice find! Cool The Cooper Refractor does look like the original Westy refractor at first glance.

Thanks! Yeah, if only there was a way to secure it in place using the stock hardware. Looks decent for a indoor display though. Clamshells are also super rare to find in my area.

Used to see a few OV-10's around here in the Lower Mainland up until the HPS change over in 1992.

Interesting. I'm still wondering where might was once used. The 400w sized clamshells used to be common on main roads in Toronto until the early 90s. The side streets where the smaller clamshells would have been used typically used those Powerlite/LM mini gumballs or the cuplight style 125w MV lights.
