Streetlight Art
Found this art installation during a walk around the Pan Am Athlete's village. It's basically a bunch of streetlights with poles all jumbled up together lol. Interestingly the style of truss arm depicted in here never really was use in the GTA. Of the lights in the installation, I saw some OVZs, R47s, a M-250A, a OV-15 and a bunch of Unidor 150s. The night shot shows that some of the lights are also wired up to work at night.

Good find! What, another art project in toronto smashing a bunch of streetlights together? Razz. Says this piece is supposed to represent the collection of poles used over time around Toronto... so it's a fail in that regard if you ask me. What I believe I see is a bunch of arms/poles found from old private properties.

Am I seeing shoeboxs?

Thanks! Yeah this is third streetlight art installation I know of in the GTA. Yeah the widely common tapered E arm wasn't shown in the mix of arms they used. They should have also included the Toronto classic gumball and braced S arm too imo.

Still a pretty neat display though, at least they had wide variety of models up on the installation. Yeah I believe there were a couple of shoeboxes too.

Update: These actually light up at night, they're LED but they used a mix of 4000K and 3000K LEDs to simulate incandescent.
