Dunno if it's HPS or MV. The light behind it is a brand new 150W HPS OVH. Didn't see it in person but would love to vacation up there.

Tobermory, and Manitoulin are probably to me the most scenic places in Ontario. Check out the Streetview for Tobermory, Not sure if the lights are still there as of 2018 but there's some nice old powerlites there. Interestingly in 2010 or so they took off most of the lights lens. Judging by the fixtures and having no NEMA's I think they may have converted them to HPS. I don`t even think they put a flat glass in.

In 2014 when I had vacationed in Collingwood we had gone for a drive over to Tobermory and I noticed none of the lights has lenses. Thought that was really weird. Many had /DX ED28 lamps in them, so at least some were either 175 or 250W MV.
