Series 13 Light Running
Probably the only time I'll ever run this until I get my own house, as this light is 240V. I hooked this up to the wires that feed the dryer outlet (removed the outlet and wire-nutted a chopped section of 14AWG extension cord to the 10/3 romex). I used the black and white extension cord wires for the hots and used the ground wire as the neutral for the PC socket.

This was actually just straight 240V (PC socket was 240V too, so just two hots and no neutral) but I wanted the PC socket wired for 120V like my local utility company did so I simply moved the white leg of the PC socket to the unused terminal on the terminal block rather than have it connected to the second 120V leg and there you go! 120V PC controlling 240V ballast. There's really no benefit of having a 120V PC over 240V other than the fact that I can run 120V PCs on it. I could always switch back to a 240V PC configuration if I wanted.

Lamp is a used Philips /DX from the 90s sometime (I think). The arctube has some darkening but still seems pretty bright.
