OH MY GOD THIS LIGHT JUST GIVES ME ONE PROBLEM AFTER THE NEXT!!!! I JUST WANT TO BEAT THIS THING WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER AT THIS POINT!!!! (don't worry, I'll do no such thing. I've come too far in restoring this to give up now but boy is this thing pissing me off. Just when I think it's all coming together something else happens and I'm back at square one. Mad Rolling Eyes )

Don (member on here) was very kind and created new clips for this, which I'm so greatful for. I need to get screws to screw them into the top housing still. The doors don't close up against the top housing though, which got me a little ticked off. I think that's on Westinghouse's behalf though. Westy really half-a$$ed their TuDor lights. I mean, a hose clamp to secure the socket, untreated steel slipfitter bolts that are directly exposed to weather, using a latch that seems to be flawed, and holding the reflector in with cheesey spring-tension clips. I want to get this thing done so I can mount it either in my room or outside. Cosmetically, this thing looks great after my grandpa's killer paint job and electrically it works, but mechanically this thing is a mess. The ballast door is the only piece of the three that doesn't have any mechanical flaws (no stuck screws or siezed parts).
