OVZ With FCO Glass and Coated Lamp
I retired the silver M-250R since I plan to use it at my brother's birthday party on October 12th. I put up the OVC for a change of pace.

Right now it is running with an FCO glass from Joe from when we met up at Vaughan Mills when I was in Ontario. It is running a nice coated Sylvania 50W HPS lamp from 1982, one of two from Joe Maurath Jr. when I saw him about two months ago. I need the coated lamp with the FCO glass or otherwise it's too glarey for me in my room. The coated lamp is okay as long as I don't look right at the fixture. With the clear lamp the glare is too harsh and I can't even look in the direction of the fixture lol. With a drop lens glare isn't as big of an issue for me but there are certain angles with the refractor that are just blinding. So I prefer coated lamps in general.

I actually find that items render their color properly under this lamp too (well, not "properly", but you can tell blue and green from black/brown.

Nice! Is a 50w HPS CMH retrofit lamp made?

I don't know. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure only on the 200W+ HPS lamps since under 200W HPS is 55V and PSMH, MH, and MV are 100V. So i don't think it would work.
