Can Someone Date This Lamp Please?
This is the lamp that came with my late 40s-50s 1X F40 preheat shoplite. The endcap was re-adhered with elmer's gue which seemed to have worked great! This lamp is in storage with the three NOS AGRO-LITES though since this has little usage and i don't want to add any more hours on it.

I'd say 70s or early 80s if not older. Sadly I don't know the Westy date code system otherwise I'd date it for you.
BTW, Dave Silverliner is a master at date codes. He dated half of my MainLighter lamps to May 1979!

can someone please date this? (thanks for giving it a shot Andy. Cool )

Likely 70s as the 80s Westy blackenders have a number at the bottom of the etch...which would be the whatever month of nineteen-eighty-whatever.

yeah it must be the 70s but these dates codes are greek to me and since no one wants to give up the "power" of knowing the codes, the least that can be done is date the lamps i don't know the ages of or tell me how to do it myself. Confused Joe helped me a bit with some date codes but the only date codes I know are Philips lamps and GE and Westie ballast/cobrahead codes. Sad
