Form109   [Dec 06, 2010 at 05:12 AM]
a monster id like to have as well....wonder how much a New One from AEL Costs. Razz
gailgrove   [Dec 06, 2010 at 02:45 PM]
I'd say some where around $300.
streetlight98   [Dec 06, 2010 at 08:49 PM]
I love one of these too. Perferably in MV, sice it wont be as glary and bright. I sure as heck wouldn't pay $300 for one though........ Shocked
Form109   [Dec 06, 2010 at 08:55 PM]
if i had 300 Bucks i would pay for one...but id prefer a second hand one so i could restore it.

asides from the expensive upfront cost, shipping on this thing probably ain't gonna be cheap....it probably weighs more than 60 Pounds....if a 1 KW Ballast is 30 Pounds itself.
streetlight98   [Dec 06, 2010 at 09:11 PM]
Yeah. The M-1000 weighed like 80-90lbs! Shocked
Form109   [Dec 06, 2010 at 09:12 PM]
good ol solid american fixtures...probably a Pain in the butt to install though.
GullWhiz   [Dec 06, 2010 at 10:42 PM]
Depends....I have held a AE 327 1000 watt HPS..it was a bit lighter than I thought....around 60 pounds.....but it feels heavier when you are on a bucket or worse yet climbing on a pole....
gailgrove   [Dec 07, 2010 at 03:33 PM]
Really Jace Shocked Thats surprisingly light considering my 400 watt HPS B2255 weights about the same, If I had one of these then it would complete my set since I already have a model 13 and 25 Razz
GullWhiz   [Dec 07, 2010 at 03:51 PM]
Depends on how old it is too....My 175 watt OV-14B is 40 pounds but my 175 watt GE M-250R1 is only like 15 pounds
Form109   [Dec 10, 2010 at 02:55 AM]
your OV-14B has a Massive Ballast as big as a modern 400 watter. Rolling Eyes
