I see that this is on one of those big truss arms.

Texas also uses brand new M-400 r2s on these high truss arms. I have seen them.

This isnt a big Truss Arm...its only 8 Feet....and Yes im Aware that Texas Uses New M400R2 FCO's...as they have begun using those in Tyler around the Loop....most are standard Light Grey...one is black though.

Interesting it has a street side socket, its not really a big surprise but its odd. Laughing

is there Really any advantage of Streetside sockets Vs Houseside Sockets? Laughing

I don't know of any advantages, but all CO and FCO cobras have them Smile

More light goes towards the road when the socket is on the street side...as the light coming out of the tip of the lamp bounces on the reflector to the street....instead of to the house....No light comes out of the base...so it won't bounce to the house side if the socket is on the street side...
