I saw a couple of these kinds of lights in Bardstown Kentucky. I looked and was like "What kind of light is that?" And now I know.

What exactly is this light used for?

Nice fixture Rich you got from Henry. Smile These are more of an area light,some places used them as lease lights I think, it's sort of a cross between a cobrahead and bracket fixture.

That's called a McGraw Edison Night Sentry. This thing has some of my fingerprints on it, I saw it when I visited Henry last year! I think it was made in '70.
