Circa 1970s... it also has a frost coating on the end!!! I had gotten two from Dave, he gave me those and I loved those lamps!!! I have one more in another shape!

This also reminds me of the specific Philips reflector design also!

i notice it says "Burn Base Down"

so will bad things happen if you burn base up?

"The open end" is actually frosted!!! Inside frosted to be specific!

If you have it burning base up, the glass would been too heavy to support the glue inside the socket Confused

Base up burning can dry out the basing cement and cause the bulb and base to seperate. A frustrating problem with decorative bulbs. I indeed sent a couple to Jace I got a small partial case. I think they are from the late 60s/early 70s.
