Indeed not very typical lamp design. I suppose it's an older model because 63lm/W isn't too much (for LED).

I agree, seems like a earlier model maybe from when LOA first switched from using 5mm LEDS.

I have one of the "Spaceship" LEDs myself, a Firefly 9.5w 3000K R20, that is heavy and has a huge heat sink. I don't think I have a picture anywhere. It flickers with the mains at 60Hz though, worse than /950 fluorescent, making it not really usable for me anywhere. It was my first LED retrofit lamp. Now most of my house's screw in sockets are LED in either 2700K or 5000K.

I got one at a bargain store for a buck and yes it's rather heavy for a light bulb.
