AGH! My EYES!!! Razz Laughing Time for one of these. lol

I have six Holophane Prismalume glass highbays (just regular glass highbays with 18" glasses i think) and they were originally M59/H33 but were converted to 350W PSMH. They got taken down and i got six with about a dozen lamps but the ballasts were all 277V single tap HPF reactors so the highbays are all ballast-less now. I can't really afford a 350W PSMH ballast right now, nevermind six, so they're going to stay ballast-less...

To have one of those GE Cromafits would be nice Laughing Hopefully you will be able to find a good deal on some 350W PSMH multi-tap ballasts one day.

Yeah too bad those things are so expensive! Well if you get your hands on a 350W PSMH ballast, you can install it in here and use the Venture lamp i gave you lol. Yeah someday I might come across a few 350W PSMH ballast. It's too bad that they didn't use multi-tap ballasts when they converted them to PSMH.

Tehe, I prefer the Philips one since it's a CMH conversion lamp. Razz

I guess they cheapened out when they converted the lights to PSMH. Sad Personally I would convert one back to 400w M59/H33 though.

I like the Philips too. I have some of the Philips Retro White CMH lamps, they are really good.

Yeah I have a 400W CMH retrofit lamp for a 400W HPS ballast. I had lit it up on my Westinghouse ballast one time. Just as bright as the HPS but a million times better because it's crisp white light. I swear, I've never seen such high-quality light from an HID! It's really too bad that HID is going to take a tanker in popularity to LEDs in the next two decades. Sad Hopefully our dumbass government doesn't ban HIDs altogether. There was a news story recently and apparently a lot of congressmen don't even read the bills they sign. They just sign them because they get so many to review. So these lamp bans are going through and nobody even knows about them.

Yeah they are awesome lamps, the 250W CMH in the Westy Vanguard is great. Well lets hope HID won't be going away too soon. Sad
