I wonder if this is actually a M-150 since it has the really boxy housing.

Yes, I was wondering that too.

Yep that's a M150, I think this model was made in the early-mid 80s,

Wow, the older M150/M250A2 almost looks like a Skyline Skylight. Shocked

Yeah very similar. The 100W MV M-250A2 FCO here are this style. I've seen one of these in my cousin's area with a westie refractor and I have to say the westie refractor is a good match for one of these. Cool

I see this fixture all around residential areas in Denver, Or places that have Xcel energy. I guess they installed these the same time they installed the M-400 A1 FCO's. Because the fixtures I saw in Denver were really boxy like this one and looked exactly the same.

I never knew there was a such thing as the M-150, it was made at the same time the M-400 A1 FCO's were made right? So Xcel energy in Denver used these during the huge HPS changeout.

I believe it was made in the very early 80's while the M-250A was still in production. The M-150 could only hold up to 150W HPS, like the OVC. Then GE made this guy available up to 250W, renamed this the M-250A2, and ended the production of the M-250A.

I'm not sure if the flat lens mercury vapor versions of this here are M-150s or M-250A2, but they're boxy like this. I really want to get one of them before HPS eats them away. It's only a matter of time before NGrid stops stocking H38 lamps. NGrid stopped stocking all other wattages of MV lamps sometime between 2004 and 2007. Sad
