Westinghouse RMA-10 NEMA head and GE refractor from mister Gull!
A box was waiting for me after work today! It happened to be this very nice NEMA head! Included with the NEMA were a beautiful NOS /DX lamp, five used photocontrols and some more stuff!

Since it was the very first time I held a real NEMA in my hands, I had to figure out how to connect the fixture to the 14/2 NMD cable once dedicated to my R37. Turns out the lamp socket also acts as a terminal, weird! Needless to say the fixture turned on and was very silent!

Cooper actually still uses those sockets on the high end ballasts and NEMA fixtures...the only difference is it isn't glazed, just plain ceramic but same shape!

Nice NEMA and install! You going find another place for the R37? Razz

Well send me a free yardblaster bracket and I will! Razz

The Westy NEMA I gave was free Wink hehehehehe!

Sorta. Considering the exit sign globe I sent you, it was a sort of trade LOL.
GullWhiz   [Aug 16, 2011 at 12:33 AM]
True! But I decided to give you extra stuff too........Like that Exit sign over there!
TiCoune66   [Aug 16, 2011 at 12:36 AM]
VERY crude and temporary installation for the EXIT sign BTW. Two cheap wood screws and some pieces of cardboard, but the sign is pretty lightweight so it holds well.

It's your FIRST English EXIT sign bud!

Yup! And it's a cool one!
