Pie plate reflector/rain shield - In action!
Here's the homemade fixture with a Solex 10W S14 yellow lamp.

That night I was messing around the campground. The light would allow me to see what I do, without attracting a huge cloud of bugs around me XD

I have a pic of my very first radial wave reflector made with a cardboard plate.... yes a cardboard plate XD I'll post it as soon as I find it.

I do (except mosquitoes and wasps LOL). During nighttime I don't mind moths but those found in the woods can be HUGE compared to the ones in cities. So I prefer not to get a huge moth in the face XD

Did you already try to place a blacklight at night outdoors? That's crazy, you get tons of big moths flying around in no time!
