2012-made Standard bulbs?
I found a bunch of those in a Zellers in Rimouski, QC. They have the date code "2" on the etch, so it's either 2002 or 2012.

I got three packs of the 75W ones and one pack of 60Ws which was the last one of that wattage. This and one pack of 75Ws goes into my collection. The remaining two packs of 75Ws are now in my stockpile for future use!

Sweet. I currently have over 100 incandescent lamps put aside for the ban. 20 are 120V 100W incandescent lamps. 24 are 130V 100W incandescent lamps. I have six of each of the following: 38W, 57W, 71W, 95W. I know these aren't being banned, but they look so cool because they're frosted, not soft white. Frosted incandescents are my FAVORITE! Very Happy

Plus I have at least 28 120V 60W lamps. Maybe a few more. All of my 100W lamps are Sylvania (the 130V ones are frosted, and all but 4 of the 120V are soft white; the remaining four are daylight lamps). The odd wattage lamps are all Satco. I bought the Satco lamps for 25 cents per two lamps, a steal IMO.

The 60W ones are all soft white except two GE reveals and 4 sylvania daylights. the 60 watters are mostly Sylvania with 10 GEs and one Bright Effects (Feit) lamp mixed in. I have room for 14 more 4-packs in my first box then I can fill my secon box.

I'll have enough lamps to last me a lifetime and still have some to share among collectors. Cool The lamps are a mixture of standard and doublelife, since I usually just look for the wattage and brand when I buy lamps. Laughing I have giftcards to Lowes, etc so I'm using them on incandescents since I don't have room for anymore electrical "projects" lol.

Interesting, I have roughly 100 or so lamps set aside for the ban of mixed brands, wattage, and finish.

I didn't realize I had no 75W lamps in the stockpile until I took inventory. Now i have a chart on the side of the big box with tally marks for each 4-pack I have and a dot for each 2-pack I have. I purposly don't have any 40W lamps since I personally think they're to dim lol. I've always lived in a house lit entirely by 60W incandescents (90W supersavers in the garage, laundry room, and utility room until I put fluorescents up) so I prefer bright lights. I think the next time i go bulb shopping I'll get 75W lamps with some more 60 watters. i think I have enough 100W lamps. Laughing

I have hundreds of all kinds myself xD. If I add C9 christmas bulbs and my stockpile it probably hits a thousand Shocked These are my first 75Ws BTW, they're so rare in my area for some reason LOL. I did see a few two-packs of them before but it's the first time I see the four-packs.

I only have a four pack of 75w lamps, they're very rare in my area too. In fact I bought my pack when I was in the US where they're as common as gulls.

yep we have tons of 40, 60, 75, and 100W lamps onthe shelves here plus 150 and 200W lamps (well 100W stock is becoming scarce now). 300W lamps seem to only be at the box stores though. Vince, can you post a pic of all of your boxes of stockpile incandesents?

I got about 5 cases of lamp put away, half of them are 100 watts, i need to get couple more cases 75w before the next ban kicked in.
the 40 watts are going to be just as important to get because that the last lamp sit around and also will get doubled up on to get 70 watt brightness.

I have about a thousand brand new bulbs stockpiled in several boxes, from 40-100w but mostly 60w and 100w. It's a mix of Sylvania, GE, and Philips though I don't buy Philips bulbs anymore for reasons of communism and poor quality in recent years. The package above looks similar to what is designed for the Dollar General chain, they have the pre 2004 style package labelling but with the 2004-present carton design. The bulbs are USA made at the Winchester plant so it is not 2012. If you look carefully it is not a 2 but with a dot and underline. Winchester closed in September 2010.

Weird, the package says they were made in Mexico Shocked Although the etch says otherwise.
