Pair of Sylvania 40W Daylight lamps
Those came from an old cooking range hood laying under two destroyed roof turbines. Since they have unsupported CC-8 filaments, I expected at least one of them to be burnt out, but nope! Both still work. The filaments are quite saggy though!

What does a CC-8 filament look like? I have a pack of 100W and 60W Sylvania Daylight lamps. I have to say, I've never bothered with color improved incandescent lamps but boy the color is so much better than regular soft whites. Smile

It's a vertical, double-coiled filament:

Ahh. There are a couple of clear 60W Sylvania lamps in the lights on the outside of my house that have a C-6 or CC-6 filament. How can you tell the difference between a coiled and coiled coil filament?
