Pair of Philips SM-2E75-S-TPC slimline ballasts
My mom grabbed this for me where she used to work a few months ago. There was way more, but two is better than nothing LOL.

I didn't test them, but Philips ballasts are darn tough! I've got slimline ballasts in much worse shape that still work! One day these will light a part of my future new workshop!

There should be month code at the back of the ballast, I can narrow it down by the month Smile

I do know how those date codes work, I just don't remember which month xD

Hmm, it looks one of the lamps types was blacked out...I wonder why?

I wonder if these (especially the F40 version) had capacitor problems in the 80s like the US Advance ballasts? I found a nice pair of October 1980 non-PCB .80 amp Kool-koils that would only light the cathodes. Also I have a 2XF96T12 Advance that I swear is having cap issues since the lamps don't always start reliably: One will light at partial brightness sometimes but that's it. Granted, it's 60w energy saver lamps, sometimes on MSW inverter electricity...
