GE F40D Mainlighter and GE F40DX These tubes are in service at the moment. Although I was testing a few burnt out tubes and I expected this F40DX to be EOL, but nope! It lights up fine! I guess the broken electrode is now back closed and heats up like it should do. But the electrode is still heavily sputtered and shouldn't last for years LOL. Keywords: Lamps
