How....interesting...and unusual....
Here you see a weird truss arm which is very very commonly used in MD state traffic light systems for lightning....has happened to be.....right there....in kinda private property....looking a bit custom installed as you see a wood was added to hold the truss.....well this totally beats using a yardblaster!

You can see the Metro rails in the background that connects to Washington DC.

This is found in Rockville!

I drove a different way into an alley and passed this.....so I parked where I was going anyway and walked to this thing and took a pic.....I still wonder who made those trusses......I know there's a few of those in southern North Carolina I believe.....

Interesting, I occasionally find MTO truss arms which are used on MTO freeways in parking lots and utility poles.

This has the potential of a lighting collector living there. This needs more investigation. Ah, the memories of those arms.

Memories of the arm Felipe? We have plenty around in Maryland......

Yeah... I wrote that comment at around midnight. My brain was going into sleep mode. Embarrassed And I don't pay much attention to the arms except when we're near the border between BGE and Pepco.
