M-250 R2 open.
Here are the inside components, been revamped since my last picture using the other bracket which makes the ballast fit better. Reflector is the one from the busted M-250 R2, I have another identical to this one but it's bent badly and un-usable. It's funny this M-250 R2 is all from parts I found on the ground from all different fixtures except the housing and refractor which I got from Darren.

So let me explain: Reflector, from the busted M-250 R2 I found long ago. Photocell socket, lamp and ballast from the M-400 R2 pieces I found on the ground. Door from the busted M-250 R2 I found on the ground this year.

Then the housing and refractor which I got from darren for free.

I hope you're not planning on using that on a regular basis. A 400 watt ballast, especially HPS, isn't particularly suited for a small housing like that. The heat buildup can be incredible. This is why I have problems with the OVX as well.

Nah I don't plan to use this on a regular basis. It would be too bright anyway. xD It's just to be in my collection is all.
