how do you distinguish one of these Eagle Clones from a Genuine Eagle?

also....how does the quality of these go against a Genuine Eagle?

These are plastic first of all. GTE has their logo on the back (hard to tell in this pic), the doors are different. Look at an Eagle door and look at these.

GTE's are nice quality
