Notice the gaping hole in the front of the light. The early 113s had that. The latch tooth sits in the notch. Not sure why they felt the need to make a hole right through the casting though. I'd expect rain would get in. They did this with the later Series 25 and 13 lights as well. Not sure if the 125s ever had this. Sure the rain would drain out if it got in, but the object is to keep water out. Ballsy design but apparently not a huge issue since this light shows no out of the ordinary corrosion inside.
