Inside M-250 R2
|
You notice the ballast isn't mounted usual in the housing, because:
The busted housing didn't have brackets, and the ballast was screwed in directly to the housing. so:
I used the brackets from my 250w Mercury Vapor ballast (MV ballast not usable, since it is 480v =( )
Everything in this light is original, except for the housing. because the other one is busted and not usable anymore.

It's funny, the only reason I have an M-250 R2 is because I found one on the ground a long time ago that was busted. xD And Today the M-250 R2 consists of NOTHING (except terminal block) from that busted M-250 R2 except for the terminal block.
Pretty much, now my M-250 R2 consists of parts from lots of different fixtures. 175w Metal Halide ballast from eBay, Refractor-Reflector-Housing were all sent to me in the mail by Darren to fix up the M-250 R2, and now are used for my fixture. Photocell control and Door were from an M-250 R2 that was busted with the pole on the ground by a car hitting it. SO pretty much my M-250 R2 is just a bunch of different parts come together to one fixture, that are not really connected in any way. Funny how that turns out.
