DTL filtered silicon photocontrol
I swapped out the PC on my 115 with this new DTL DE-series filtered silicon photocell I got last week. Interestingly, although this control has a 1.5ftc turn-on, it comes on much earlier than the previous control with the 2.6ftc turn-on.

If the previous one was an unfiltered silicon PC, that would explain it. unfiltered silicon PCs will sense "invisable" light (infrared light) so they'll be more sensitive and turn on the light at night depending on how much IR light it is detecting. I personally prefer cadmium sulfide PCs since they seem to have a consistant turn-on time (though some will "drift" over time) and resemble older PCs somewhat.

Yep the previous was a DP124 unfiltered silicon.
