I know of two currently here that are out. They are on Davits and were out when the HPS fixtures were still up. Seems like the linemen never checked the inline fuse in the pole. Rolling Eyes

Yep some of the LEDs on steel or concrete polee are out due to blown fuses or other electrical issues. Never seen fusing for lights on wooden poles, so in this case its either a bad PC or a burnt out driver unit inside the fixture.

LIPA in Long Island uses Edison style based fuses and uses edition rubber weatherproof socketsr right between wiring on overhead!

They were originally using the existing PC's from the old HPS lights which some were bad so we ended up getting new LEDs that didn't work. They eventually went around and changed all the PC's to those LED specific ones and all seem to be working fine.

Your area is probably the world ONLY area that has LEDs in external wiring form for normal installations! Shocked

there are some LED Streetlight's here in Ft.Worth in what looks like test patches...they look OK at night.
