Westinghouse/Crouse Hinds/Cooper Style Ignitors!
Okay none of them are Westinghouse...but those were used by Westinghouse before Crouse Hinds took over. It is unknown who designed those ignitors though...

The one on the far left is the oldest, it's hard to see the dating...but it is from late 1984. It was found in my Crouse Hinds OV-15 (commonly as known as the L-150) The ballast was shorted and I tried to fix it but couldn't...

The one in the middle came from a 1996 Cooper ballast that I acquired...the Cooper ballast had this easy unplug and plug in ignitor socket with those square ignitor interface...

The blue one...came from a Cooper Traditionare Posttop. It was a bad ignitor which just needed replacement so the ignitor got replaced and the posttop works now! The other 2 on the left is good and still works...while the blue one is not working.

Cool!
I've never seen a square ignitor actually , I think it's a much better concept then the wire in Type

Neat! I've never seen a square ignitor before unless you count those Caster ones from the box store fixtures. I like the idea of using plugin ignitors too.

My Tudor has the same design, just older looking. See here.

My OVZ, OVH, OVM (ballast that got removed), OV-25 Tudor, all have this same kind of ignitor. My Tudor has the Westinghouse brand though, while the rest are Cooper or Crouse hinds. I should get a picture of all of them together.

the design of the case looks like bridge rectifiers.
