Quebec Traffic Signal Setup

This is the rather "strange" setup around the Montreal area.

Nice coopers on truss arms...the signals are...diffrent.

What's the single section head for? Is it a RXR signal?

Yeah. If you look down on your screen (that's if it's LCD and you're using a full-sized screen versus a phone screen) you can make out the RXR on it. Those are cool looking. Very Happy

I like the curved trusses also! As for the single section signal I don't really know, there are no rail lines anywhere around there.

Well it doesn't look strange to me XD (aside from the 8-8-8 or 12-12-12 on the truss arm). But traffic lights are often mounted that way here, the right one on a truss arm and the left one directly on the pole. The latter is for the very left lane and mainly generates the protected left turn sequence. I don't know if such setups are common elsewhere LOL.

I think most provinces in Atlantic Canada use similar traffic light setups. Razz
