Front view of mounted NEMA.
Front view. I decided I would like more spread around light! This should work perfectly =3

Looks good, great job!! Did you put the NOS clear top in there? Shocked

I didn't realize that these had a bottom lense, i always liked the NEMAs with the bottom lense the best.

do you mean a Closed Bottom Lense?....i like the way they look...but they do seem to collect alot of dirt and bugs

I mean the lense on the bottom of the fixture refractor, I do see a lot arrounds my area with years of bugs with a greened out lamp.
Form109   [Feb 06, 2010 at 01:42 AM]
that is part of the Refractor.

I guess that im still learning!

WOW! This is the same NEMA fixture I sent you eh? Yes I have seen bugs before..but actually it is not too bad if they are well serviced and taken cared of....I often see the ones with most bugs inside forests...but again if linemen puts it on proplerly and nicely.....you'll get minimal amount of bugs in them! The bucket is a Formed Plastic brand while the head is a Westy here!

How come the older NEMA heads have a smooth reflector while the newer ones have a wavey reflector? Question
LilCinnamon   [Sep 30, 2011 at 01:57 AM]
The Bucket refractor of this NEMA head is newer than the fixture... I think... Right Jace?

Ahh. but how come this has a smooth reflector instead of the wavey one? I like the smooth ones better...
