My Philips Tornado 23W 865 helical CFL, lit on my table lamp Date code: G5. I have this lamp for long time and it still operates and bright, with barely end blackening, despite the instant start ballast, and the fact that it is made in China. The table lamp itself also made in China, but i have it for more then 10 years and still looks like a new (It had a light bulb shaped cover, which i removed later to prolong the life of the ballasts of CFLs i operates on it). I think that the lamp itself also exceeded the 3 years average life of instant start electronic ballasted CFLs. Keywords: Lamps
