I know I'm probably going to get heat around here for this, but these are very inefficient! because a tungsten filament gives off very little UV, a linear blacklight works better! (sorry guys!!)

My one is a pretty good heater too, although the thick Woods glass makes it hard to see the filament.

I personally think efficiency isn't always the ONLY point to consider, the look is also very important. Higher quality stuff is usually more expensive, and so is higher quality light.

That blacklight lamp looks really neat! Despite the low UV output, the visual effect is awesome! Cool
