Because the Yellow stays on a Shorter Time than Red or Green?

Yes, because of the shorter burn time, the bulbs in the yellows last for years.

@prawnman: We have H&H 150w TS 16000hr that are in yellows that were installed in 2000 when we replaced reds and greens with Leotek LEDs, and are still going strong, until recently. Thanks to Obama's "Green Jobs" they are replacing the yellows with LEDs. The "green" in green job means your tax $$$ they take from you.
